"Across the board, the OpenGL performance increases under Windows 2000. While the GeForce 2 GTS did see a slight increase in performance from moving to Windows 2000, the G450 sees more improvement, a tribute to the Matrox Windows 2000 driver quality. Overall, the G450 is at its best under Windows 2000."
OpenGl performance is measured only with Q3? Anyway I would like to have these drivers, if someone don´t mind, because all 3D performance is slower in Win2k than in win9x. But I won´t argue that Matrox has the best driver around for win2k.
My experience with my G450 is the same. I did some comparisons between win98 and win2k, and it was actually smoother in win2k, and the benchmarks I ran were higher. I just upgraded my win98 install to ME, and it changed nothing.
