    Gino:
the necessary filters for this hardware are unique.
Gotta have 'em, only place to get 'em is off the CD AFAIK. Several months ago I suggested "open sourcing" these filters, since Matrox wouldn't invest anymore time in updates to the navigator. Haig checked into it for us, but it isn't possible because Macrovision and some other MPAA legal issues wouldn't allow for this. The idea of a filter-only install package was his, but so far it hasn't happened, and of course, if it did, it would be considered a hack and couldn't carry Matrox's official blessing.

    FDS:

Thanks for the reply. I really appreciate the info. Stay tuned, we may yet get this workaround out there. If you want the whole sad story, check this link:

Laurent: I see some hope for you, since the latest PD6.x release corrected the SS7/3D problem for the g400. Maybe the next PD will support the g200--if so, your problem may be solved. Keep your fingers crossed.

    Where are you Ledo??

      Update for you Laurent:

      Check this thread
      http://forums.murc.ws/ubb/Forum5/HTML/008952.html

EVERYTHING (including 3D) works for SS7 on the PD 6.0betas.

Enjoy--just remember to uninstall all the DVD stuff and then reinstall it all after you've tried the new working drivers.

          Flee:

Most all the 5.x drivers support the Module, even if they do not claim to. at least in W98.

I've run successfully on the 5.25, 5.41, 5.55 and 6.0x Betas. It just depends on what else matters to you...5.5's don't work on SS7 3d games, some versions dont support the correct Vid tools, but all of these have worked for me to varying degrees.

If you are having problems, post in on a new thread and outline what's going on. I'm able to use two versions of MGI DVD Max, Cinemaster 2000, one version of the Matrox Ravisent, and the OEM player that came packaged with the mod.

As far as I'm concerned, this is all we're gonna get.
