Hi all,
Sorry for bringing up the issue again. As a devoted Matorx user since the Milleninum days, virtual desktop has been one of the main reason I have stuck with Matrox. I do know that due to the OS restriction of Win 98 and Win 2000 that Virtual Desktop is no longer available.
Currently I am running NT4SP6 with G200 Millenium and is planning to upgrade to a G400 Max. I am planning to not upgrade to Win 2000, as virtual desktop is really my cup of tea. My main questions are as follows:
1. Which is the latest version of Powerdesk for NT4 that support virtual desktop feature? Does the current beta drivers 4.54 support Virtual desktop also?
2. Will any future Powerdesk drivers for NT4 continue to have the virtual desktop feature? Or will it be dropped at some point even for the NT4 drivers?
3. If i run in True colour (24-bit) mode, what is the maximum virtual desktop area that I can have?
Thank you very much for your assistance.
