How I can use DH for debuging in VC++ DX fullscreen appz ?!?

Hi all
I am using DualHead only for DVD playback, but I want to use it more frequently (if I have this cool feature).I think is time to learn something new! PLEASE tell me how I can debug (under MS Visual C++) full screen DirectX application, while DX app. is on my TV and VC on monitor ?!? (I dont have two monitors 8-( ). I will be very pleased if anybody give me some advice.

btw: Win2k, VC 6.0, DX 7, G400 32 DH MAX, EIZO 19" and fuc**ng small TV.

Hi,

I don't think you can. The only way I have ever done something like that is to use the remote debugging functions to attach to a full screen process on a remote computer. I think you would actually find this preferable because it is a lot less intrusive - you get a better idea of what is going on in the application environment.

I have missed the ability to do this since I switched from MS's C7 to Visual C++. In fact, for a long time I was using the C7 engine with the Visual C++ interface, just because we had developed a set of nifty text-mode debugging tools for a second monitor (primitive dual-head with an early hercules text card).

If someone comes up with a definitive way to pull this off, let me know.
