G450 BIOS/Drivers Version

My G450 came with BIOS revision 1.2-21 and drivers Powerdesk version 6.13.049.

The most recent G450 drivers and BIOS revision for G400 are different. What is the most recent versions of these for the G450?

Darn, Brian ... your BIOS is newer than mine ...

and also your Powerdesk seems to be newer than the one on their site ... why don't you post it so that others could give it a try ?

the latest official powrdesk is 6.14.051, so it IS newer than brian's

Brian, what are the exact numbers for
[*] drivers[*] Powerdesk[*] ICD[*] driver package (probably the ZIP file on your CD)

The most recent drivers (Powerdesk) I see on the Matrox site is 6.04.029 for Win98.

It'll have to wait until I get home tonight Maggi.

(Matrox TS told me to use the ones on the CD instead of the ones on the web site)

Maybe (if you find the time) you can bench both against each other and look out for visual differences and/or performance issues ?

On the performance issues, the monitor used by my wife's computer is not going to distinguish between the two drivers. No way Jose.

I can do some benchmarking. (I'll bet they turn out to be indistiguishable). It's possible that the only difference is in the number assigned.

the display-driver version of the "driver package" 6.04.029 is 4.12.01.1640 (1.64.029)

the powerdesk version is 6.14.051
