HELP HELP HELP WRONG G400MAX BIOS UPDATE

I tried the new matrox utility PbiosWin in setup203.exe!
After rebooting the system my G400MAX was death with one long bip!
I tried Matrox recover utility but nothing happens when it was finished!
Now what can i do?
I ve a old video ISA board; can i use it for save my G400?

HELP PLEASE!

I believe that if you use a pci videocard & then reflash your MAX it should salvage the situation.

boot your pc with the isa/pci card only, enter the bios, in advanced bios settings : initiante display 1st : pci.
then put back ur G400 with the isa/pci and reflash your bios.

It didn't work: If i try the updating process under DOS with UPBIOSDOS.EXE it reports:

Enviroiment size set to 208 bytes
Bad command or filename

While in Windows ME with Pbioswin.exe it reports:
Unable to get EEPROM information

I used MXINFO with -dead option and it reports that my G400 have an invalid checksum but the pins are valid!
I dumped the pins in a file pins.txt!

I used Matrox recover.zip utility and now my G400MAX have 1.5 BIOS (first version BIOS); pins are ok but the BIOS checksum is invalid!
How can i fix the checksum?

My G400MAX works again!
The only problem: I can t install the drivers because my board have a wrong SUBSYS_ID! I know how i can modify it, but i need esadecimal value SUBSYS_ID for G400MAX!

Do you know it?

in the first screen!

I would to know SUBSYS_ID value of a G400MAX board not of a "SIMPLE" G400!

Please can someone that have G400MAX board tell me it?

It s a ESADECIMAL value!
For example i know that SUBSYS_ID for Millennium G200AGP is FF03 but i don t know G400MAX one!

PLEASE TELL ME IT because i can t install the drivers!

You can always find subsystem ID of all Matrox products from the Win9x PD .INF files. For latest WHQL PD6.04, the file is "EFIGS.INF". %Str16% is G400MAX. Under [Mgf.Matrox],

%Str16%%ENG%=IN10,PCI\VEN_102B&DEV_0525&SUBSYS_217 D102B

So the subsystem ID in 217D102B in hex dword form.
