progbios and fixed frequency monitors
I have a Matrox Millenium I and a Sun20D10 fixed frequency monitor. I'd like to use progbios to reprogram the PINS on the card to change the low res VGA modes to something my monitor can handle. I read through all the details at http://grafi.ii.pw.edu.pl/gbm/matrox/ and in the nonvga section it seems to talk about exactly that.
Here's the problem. I can reprogram the PINS on the card, but it makes no difference in the output. I've tried several cards and several computers so I think I must be doing something wrong. The changes are saved to the card however. It just doesnt change the output.
I'm using progbios from setup343.
Anyone been succesful at getting this to work? Everything is fine in high res modes ofcourse... :-)
