  • g400 DVD to TV Issues

I have a G400 32mb Dualhead card running win2k sp1. I have previously been able to display DVD movies with no problems using the composite (RCA video) video output. However, my TV is now too far away for a single RCA cord to reach it. I have tried bridging 2 composite cords together using an RCA plug coupler, but when I do this my signal practically disappears and I am left with a scrambled picture on the TV. Is there any way I can get around this problem? I've tried using a coaxial signal amplifier with RCA to coaxial adapters (don't ask me to explain this, it hurts my head to think about it), but the problem is still there. I assume this is not a driver issue since I am able to view movies just fine with a single cord.

    I get a great image running a 50' length of RG6-QS (Quad-Shielded) with RCA/F adapters.
