  • Will the G800 have decent OpenGL support?

From all the things I have seen about the G200 and G400 series, the one thing that stands out is that what we would like to see is working OpenGL support. I'll admit that my desire to see this is a bit limited(All I want is for Baldur's Gate 2 to work in hardware more), and I don't give a damn about any of the 1st person shooters out there. But, there is a group of people who want it for the professional market, and they have gotten the shaft from Matrox.

So, anyone want to bet that the reason for the delay isn't in the hardware, but in the OpenGL support STILL being broken?

The best and most logical explaination I've seen someone throw out was that Matrox may have lost more key people than they admitted, which could certainly delay any upcoming product... Don't know, but seems plausable...
Don't really care as I wouldn't be first in line anyways...

Don't know what OpenGL support will be.. doesn't bother me either way..

    Time is the only answer...
After their next latest and greatest is released, I'm sure the rumours will fly around as to why it's so late...
And if it's a paper release, the Driver rumours will fly like crazy...

Oh well such is the beast... Endless cycle...
