Maggi you're right about that. (And I'm happy to report that with my new job the building of my little "game server" will continue immediately!) It's just a case where my feelings were a little mixed up. Specifically what instigated my 'guilt trip'? I'm not sure at this point.
My primary purpose was to acknowledge the unique resource this forum truely is! There are in fact plenty of forums for those other cards. But the quality of the information isn't very good at all, and the maturity level of the members leaves alot to be desired. On top of that the MURC has a sense of comradery that's about a 'quantum' level above the others.
As an anecdote, I did have to use my G400 last week. I was attempting to "optimize" my performance and simply managed to get things all screwed up.
So I broke the MAX out plugged it in for a while, to help the motherboard's BIOS clear all those misinformed tweaks, then reverted back. Just for old times sake though I had to "double check" the Registry for all those familiar old settings and that was really kinda fun. 
It's just too bad that I traded my DVD-ROM drive or I could have enjoyed a movie with my "whine and cheese".
Oh BTW ALBPM, I will call you! It's just that I've been really busy lately ("Self Employment" really stinks this time of year).
