          Okay Andrei

I've got the Win9x/ME drivers in. Looking at the timestamp they are old (15-dec-2000), but it's a good Xmas present. Thanks Haig !!

            I'm getting 461 3DMarks less than before in 3DMark 2000??????????????
            That's strange.
But they fixed the Colin McRae Rally 2.0 32bit problem .Now not only it's gfx-corruption free at 32bit but it runs smoother than before(i don't need to o/c my MAX to play it).

Anyone else getting less 3DMarks with these drivers?

              3578 on the default test.
I'm still in the 3550 to 3600 margin, so I'd say I have no problem with 3DMark 2k.

Might be that you're not overclocking the MAX anymore, there's enough score that comes from overclocking it

                Like i didn't know that....Duh!!!!

                I was getting 3540 without o/c my MAX but now it's 3079.
I only use o/c for benchmarking but never when i'm running all other things(including games...except Colin 2.0 ).

I'm using DX8....maybe that is the problem...
                3dMark+6.21+DX8????

I'm using 7.0a, so you might be right, who knows. Now, don't go screw your system trying to get rid of DX8 and install 7.0a just for a 3Dmark score.
Play some games and see if they have problems before you do that or revert to PD 6.10

This is what i'm getting from Wintune:

                    6.10
                    Video(2D) 194.7467 MPixels/s
                    Direct3D 358.7266 MPixels/s
                    OpenGL 167.7336 MPixels/s

                    6.21
                    Video(2D) 206.0501 MPixels/s
                    Direct3D 354.3241 MPixels/s
                    OpenGL 164.7282 MPixels/s

So the problem might be with 3DMarks????

I haven't done any benchmarking yet, but the fixes I've seen so far (in PD 5.31 in Win2k):

                      - Vertex lighting in q3a is working properly again
                      - overbrightbits are now implemented? No need any more for r_overbrightbits 0 or r_ignorehwgamma 1 in q3a
                      - the Grey boxes in explorer after switching quickdesk schemes -bug has been fixed
                      - The Closing a window doesn't always make the previously-active window active -bug also has been fixed

My monitor now is listed in the Matrox Monitor Customization list! Woohoo! However, when I select it, the quickdesk schemes behave a bit odd....

Why is it that these new drivers support the Millennium G200 but NOT the Mystique G200?
Oh well, by this time next week I hopefully have my G400 anyway.

It means it doesn't work with Matrox's overclocking utility. There's alway MGA Tweak left to do the job... or PowerStrip

                              Beautiful drivers, GOOD JOB Matrox!
The best set of drivers I've seen so far..

HLCS can finally run in opengl mode now in my win2k box without freezing, and it looks smoother than running on dx8...not by a lot, but noticeable to me..(res is 1024x768)

will try to turn on an opengl ssaver before i sleep tonight and see if it will freezes like 5.11+ to 5.20

                              Good Job!
