G400 Max, W2k + DVD

Apparently the bundled DVD software player doesn't work with Windows 2000. Does Matrox provide an upgrade to the ownders of G400 cards?

If not, I noticed this upgrade offer for G450 cards for $9.95, which includes DVD software that supports Windows 2000. Did anybody order it? What kind of DVD software is it? Is it any good? Does it work with G400 cards as well?

I have never used the Matrox player. However, both of them (G400 and G450 versions) are based on the Cinemaster engine, and are not video-card dependent. So yes, it should work.
