  • Wait for g800??

    Hi!

I'm planning to buy a new PC soon
and I really want to have a
    dualhead graphics card.
Has anyone got any idea how much
the g800 is going to cost if it
is released, and when that would happen?
Should I wait for it to be released or
should I buy some other card like GF2 or G400MAX?

No such card has ever been announced.

There is no such thing as a G800.

      ...

      ...

      ...

      ...

Of course, you didn't ask whether you should wait for Matrox's next card. Which we might be inclined to answer.

My personal answer would be "not if you want to get a card in the next few weeks".

You want us dead or something?
After we've seen the G800 in action, we'll drop dead of the HORRIBLE quality that the NV20 will show us

I assume Ant is implying that he knows nothing of their next-gen card.

It's as a friend of mine that works for Boeing tells us every time we ask about the Aurora project - "I can neither confirm nor deny that, and if I tell you, I have to kill you".

Jim, editing it does not show anything about their next-gen card.

I think he does know, and has hinted what he knows more than enough already... if you want to know, just read all the comments he made (and not the jokes he also made once in a while)
