why exactly won't your G200 play games, and why do you expect the same from the G400 marvel?

Hi all,
I'm upgrading my old system next week to something vaguely respectable, and I was just wondering if I could run two graphics cards in the same system without any problems. At the moment I have a G200 Marvel + Voodoo2, and I really want to ditch the V2, but I know from experience that the G200 wont play (m)any games
I need to keep video capture, so either I could buy an AIW Radeon / Marvel G400 or (much cheaper) keep the G200 and get a PCI Geforce2 MX. Would this work? I'll be running a Windows2000/98 dual boot, so I don't know whether this will affect things or not.
Added to that, I only have a VGA input on my monitor, so I would need a cable splitter, if they exist. Any ideas would be much appreciated.
