How can I make a custom resolution? Can I do it with "Matrox's own tweak utility"? How do I use this thing? I am trying to change resolutions in order to minimize or eliminate moire.

    Any suggestions?

To use the Tweak Utility to create custom resolutions, run the utility, click Tweak, click the Monitor Profile tab, select the Horizontal and Vertical entries for the resolution you want, and then click Apply. You may also want to try my Powerdesk Resolution Manager, which allows you to see your currently available resolutions and delete resolutions as well. It is available here:

Whichever utility you use, if you are running Windows 2000, you will need to reboot before the new resolution is available. If you are running Windows 95, 98, or Me, a reboot is not necessary. Windows NT 4.0 or earlier are not supported.

Once the resolution is added, use the Monitor Settings tab under Advanced in the Display Control Panel applet to enable the resolution for your desktop. You can also customize the resolution further (for example, changing the refresh rate) under Monitor Settings.

    Good luck!
