  • Problem with switching PAL/NTSC

I have a little problem after i reinstalled win2k when i had added some new hardware (46.1 Gb HD and DVD-rom Pioneer 150s modified to 105f regionfree)

Before i reinstalled win2k, when i switched PAL/NTSC the screen used to flicker. But now it doesn't.. what's wrong?

    My system:

    P3-600 MHz
    384 mb ram
    46.1 Gb IBM 7200rpm HD
    DVD-rom Pioneer 105s (105f regionfree modified)
    Matrox G400 MAX
    3Com Fast Etherlink XL 10/100

And my Matrox G400 MAX and usb-device and 3Com networkcard all share IRQ.. can't get them to get their own IRQ no matter how i do it..

    Can anyone help?

I don't see what the real problem is. You want to see the screen flicker when you switch from PAL over to NTSC?

If you switch, does it work like it always did before, i.e. do you see NTSC after the switch?

also don't worry too much about the irq sharing in win2k, this is a normal for win2k and is tied up to the power management - win2k is able to share the irq's with *no problem*
      Juu nin to iro

Well.. before when the screen flickered it showed that it switched over from either PAL/NTSC.. but now nothing happens and sometimes the tv-out doesn't work after chosing PAL/NTSC.. i have to disable dvd-max and then enable it again to get it to work properly.. :-(
