What card you use doesn't matter, the TV simply has not enough resolution to display anything above 640x480 correctly.

... but if he did ...
The point is that there are two main factors at play when trying to view computer output on a TV: 1) Use the VGA output so you're not throttled by the more limited bandwidth of the PAL/NTSC standards and 2) Use a TV which is capable of resolving the higher resolutions and video timings provided by the VGA interface.<TABLE BGCOLOR=Red><TR><TD><Font-weight="+1"><font COLOR=Black>The world just changed, Sep. 11, 2001</font></Font-weight></TR></TD></TABLE>

G450DH TV out Question??
Hi,
I've just started using a G450DH 32mg and I'm trying to find out if it's possible to achieve a reasonably good picture on a TV when I extend my desktop to it (clone mode.
I made up a RGB-Scart lead which improved quality quite a lot and now I can read text at 640x480 which wasn't possible with either a s-video or composite output. But if I go to 800x600 text is barely reading, unusable in otherwords.
So can anyone give me any answers to the following.
1, Is the g450 capable of displaying readable text at higher resolutions on a TV? (is it my card that's at fault)
2, If not is the g400 any better for this??
What I'd like to achieve is readable text at 800x600 16bpp and I'm trying to find out whether it's worth swapping to a G400.
Thanks.
