Blue Orb, & Best Drivers??
Ok, First off I was wondering if anyone has sucessfully mounted a Blue Orb on their G400 (MAX) using the pins. It looks as though it would make contact with the ram chips, so would you have to file it down??
Also, which driver revision do you guys find offer the best performance?
Finally, I have a G400 MAX, and Madonion's site reads my card as the vanilla, and therefore puts me in their category, which throws things off for comparison. I wonder if this is because everywhere else in windows it mentions nothing about it being the Max version as well, though I know it is since it runs @ the standard 150 clock. Any ideas?
This was one of the first batch, and it seems as though it dislikes being overclocked. I can't get it to run on a 89Mhz bus, nor will it like running @ 115% without artifacting. I am looking for perfoarmance gains, but seem to be rather limited.
