Hey sure! I'm crazy that way, I'll pick up my monitor and do what? Set it facing me but 180 degrees upside down? 90 degrees on its side or what? I'll try anything but I doubt that would solve it.

There are no adjustments like you mention about colour in the corners. This monitor is just plain fuzzy and poor. It should remain DOA replacement since I got it as DOA EACH AND EVERY SINGLE TIME! But I bet they don't have DOA replacement 30 days after purchase. What a crock. Plus, I actually have a life, I work and go to meetings at night and get sick of having to TAKE CARE of it. By the time I take this thing back in for service and get it back it'll be a while!

ON SITE, as it clearly states in my owners manual "ON SITE WILL BE PROVIDED DURING THE FIRST YEAR OF THE LIMITED WARRANTY, SUBJECT TO THE AVAILABILITY, TO THE ORIGINAL PURCHASER WITHIN THE CONTIGUOS UNITED STATES"

I live in CANADA!!! Thats why I bought a Matrox video card!

anyways........Samsung sucks as far as I'm concerned. Too bad I, the paying customer, who has done nothing wrong but purchase a crappy product (3 crappy products??), only to go through all this trouble!

I think its time to write a registered letter to the President of Samsung!

Well if you're going to be like that piss off. Read up about magnetic fields and there effects on monitors as well while you're at it.

ccoltas, the degaussing coil built into all crt monitors/TV's do not have the strength to remove the effect you are now seeing. It can only be eliminated by having someone with a real Degaussing Coil (or similar) and knows how to use it!

Speakers magnets are normally the cause of this, but transformers in adjacient equipment can also cause magnatization of the screen.

If you recieved this monitor new with this problem then it very well could have been fine when it left the factory, only to be damaged when shipped. I remember a friend complaining about this when he recieved shipment of 10 monitors and all had to be serviced because the shipping company bundled speakers next to them... and I'm not talking yellow tinge here, I'm talking hard rainbow effect! He was so pissed as the shipment was late and the customer expected delivery that day. Needless to say that didn't happen.

If you feel like writing a letter to whatever corp pres/CEO go for it... but it won't get you anywhere! This happens from time to time and without knowing what causes this on your part/rant will get you ignored by just about everyone... including those here trying to help you. Still to this day you refuse to heed the advice given and it turns people off bigtime.

Nobody wants to help an ignorant whiny smartass. Take a chill pill, listen and learn

Piss OFF eh? Where do you get the nerve to tell me to piss off? Why would YOU be upset when I am angry with Samsungs lack of consistent quality? So when I buy something I shouldn't expect it to work? And when I wait for a replacement from the manufacturer after waiting almost a month and its defective I should not be angry? Please don't patronize me like I'm stupid. I have a fair amount of technical knowledge and I and not disputing anybodies claims for what causes what and that magnetic fields may have damaged this monitor. If you read my original complaints about my latest monitor you will see that not only does it have a yellow tinge, it is VERY blurry and had produced a FLASH once or twice that was extremely unreasuring. ALSO, I have used the monitor on another PC with a different vid card, and its the same and I've used another 19" monitor on my PC (the one with the Samsung now) and that 19" did not have these probs.

If magnetic fields affect monitors being shipped or stored, thats not my responsibility, its the companies responsibility to communicate the importance of certain procedures to any shipper or store owner. I will take care of it when I get it.

I agree that I may have just had very bad luck with these monitors, but I find that hard to believe. 3 Monitors all with defects? And to top it off, I have to deal with an unbelievably rude and condecending Customer Support guy telling me to put my shoe size on my fax requesting a replacement? Telling me he was going to fire whoever told me Samsung had a customer satisfaction garantee?

I appreciate everyones help here and do not take it lightly. I have tried all that I have been asked to by the people here. And how can you say I have not tried your advice! I have tried everything. I do not have any more time to waste with this monitor, it is taking up too much time and aggrevation. Is it too much to ask that a product work, and if it does not, that it be replaced within a few days or a week, and that I not be treated with disrespect when I am a paying customer. I have carried this monitor back and forth 2 or 3 times and its no mouse I tell you that, it weighs 62 KG includling the box etc.

At this point all I can do is take it to a Samsung service center and ask that it be fixed. And that is what am I going to do.
