Mystique 220 and 640x480x16 colors

I'm sincerely frustrated.

I have a Mystique 220 in my MS Win95B system. It refuses to let DirectX put it in 640x480x16 colors. It worked fine at one point, but I installed some software with an update of DirectX that blew it up.

I have tried reinstalling Win95 and uninstalling the Mystique and reinstalling it. Nothing helps! Someone suggested that it might be my motherboard, but I know that it used to do 640x480x16 colors.

Can anyone tell me how to fix it?

Or, is it 640x480 16-bit color???

640x480 16 color is Standard VGA mode, load standard VGA driver from Win95 and you'll get it.

It would be helpful if you include your system specs and Powerdesk version used with your Mystique.
