G400 w9x driver comparison (german)

So according to their test suite, w9x PD6.10 are best. What's the equivalent drivers for w2k guys?

Not that their test say anything.... it's tested on a 16MB G400, so AGP performance in the drivers will make a bigger impact on the final score than with a 32MB card probably.

Further more they've only tested with MDK2 (OpenGL) and Bumped Earh (EMBM performance???).

Other factors that should make you decide which driver to use other than speed are amount and seriousness of the bugs in each version.

I thought the flashlight was trashed by TurboGL too. What am I remembering?

Flashlight does not work with TurboGL IF you use PD 6 with it. It works fine if you use PD 5.

He mainly admits that his whole testing procedure was wrong (having VSync on, refresh at 80Hz, desktop left @ 1280x960) and thus all of his results maybe completely wrong.
