I won't give specs that are *too* detailed as at first I'd just like to know if this is a known issue or if anyone has heard of this.
Had a Matrox G400 MAX for the last year with no problems. Latest BIOS, WHQ certified drivers. Windows 98 SE.
Replaced with G450. Seems to be OK, except tht at certain times the monitor will spontaneously power off. As best as I can tell, it's not a monitor problem at all, the card actually stops putting out signal. Windows is not locked. CTRL-ALT-DEL to reboot, signal comes back.
I'm not positive but it seems that this is happens only when a scroll bar is clicked and dragged and some other unknown condition is true.
Has anyone else experienced anything similar and discovered what the problem is?
