Enable dualheadism in singelhead g400

Someone claimed once that it is possible to enable the dualhead function on a singlehead g400.

Can anybody give a hint what this means? Can I just solder a VGA-connector to the card and upgrade the bios, or is it just a joke...

nope ... but there's a DH upgrade available from Matrox.

You can use the G400 Dual-Head Add-on, no doubt available from the Matrox Shop, or otherwise at a local computershop.

I have to check what model I have. I just doubt that i cant use that (i have only one connector that comes out from my card...)

Do you know if my g400 will be 100% dualhead compatible, or will there be some restrictions.

Wasn't there also a restriction that you cannot upgrade to a RR-G when you're extending G400 SH with that DH addon ?
