It up !!!
Code:eDualHead Readme version 1.0, 26 Feb 2001 ================ ======================== Important things to note: ========================== - The use of multiple eDualHead applications is not supported at this time. The applications will run concurrently, but some behaviors will not be correct (especially when using PageLog with other eDualHead applications). - PageJump requires that the CTRL key be held down during navigation in order to activate the alternating behaviour. - PageWrap does not allow you to resize the Internet Explorer windows under its control. Changing the width of a window would have the effect making the windows unsynchronized, and the ability has thus been disabled. - eDualHead Toolbar in startup group: by default, the eDualHead Toolbar is inserted into the startup group of your start menu. If you wish to disable the toolbar from starting each time you log on, you must remove the shortcut to it from the startup group. - Options: when an option is changed in the eDualHead Options panel, any changes made will only be reflected in the applications once they are closed and then re-started. - On Windows NT 4.0, it is required that a multi-display mode be active for eDualHead to work correctly (i.e. it will not work under 'clone' mode). Also, the 'Tile browser windows when <app name> stars' (where <app name> is PageJump or PageWrap) option has no effect in Windows NT 4.0. Advanced Options: ================= Some functionality and accompanying options were added at a late stage in the development process, and thus do not have exposed user options in the eDualHead Options. The behavior/functionality can be changed by making direct changes to the system registry. You should only make changes to the registry if you fully understand how to do so. Making inappropriate changes to the system registry can render your system unusable. PageLog: -------- Under the key: [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Matrox\eDualHead\PageLog] The following values can be added/modified: "Filters": a comma-separated string value that denotes the types of URLs that are NOT tracked by PageLog. The default (if this value is absent) is "file, mailto". You can add any URL prefixes to this list to stop PageLog from recording these URLs. For example, you could add 'https' (no quotes) to the string to stop PageLog from tracking browsing done on secure servers. "FastTracking": a dword value. When this value is 1 (and when the value is absent), PageLog tracks your browsing as you enter a page. When this value is 0, PageLog tracks your browsing when you leave a page. Set this value to 0 if you are experiencing anomalous tracking behavior. PageWrap: --------- Under the key: [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Matrox\eDualHead\PageWrap] The following values can be added/modified: "CacheSlaves": a dword value. When this value is 1 (and when the value is absent), PageWrap waits for the main IE window to finish loading a page before the slave windows load it from cache. This allows for faster loading and saves bandwidth. "BringForthOnNavigate": a dword value. When this value is 1 (or when the value is absent), PageWrap will bring all IE windows under its control to the foreground when the pages begin loading a new page. "BringForthOnDocComplete": a dword value. When this value is 1 (or when the value is absent), PageWrap will bring all IE windows under its control to the foreground when the pages finish loading a new page. PageJump: --------- Under the key: [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Matrox\eDualHead\PageJump] The following values can be added/modified: "BringForthOnNavigate": a dword value. When this value is 1 (or when the value is absent), PageJump will bring all IE windows under its control to the foreground when the pages begin loading a new page. "BringForthOnDocComplete": a dword value. When this value is 1 (or when the value is absent), PageJump will bring all IE windows under its control to the foreground when the pages finish loading a new page.
