What are theese strange things in G400 driver...?

Probably you've already seen this

now, I've a G400 with powerdesk 6.50 installed, so i tried to open some files like g400.drv and I found this:

What's your idea ? Is it a trick by matrox or we have to consider it seriously ?

WARP is the programmable part of the G400 afaik, and it's used for triangle setup.

BES is the video back-end scaler, which speaks for itself

TnLHAL.. now that's something more interesting

Uh-oh...someone didn't read the license agreement when downloading their drivers let's take a look at what you missed

Ummm...that's not word pad, that's ultraedit, and it's a disassembler

yup, that one's from Pace and made it to Ant's news page ...

the other one is just wordpad.

LOL... You could prove your innocence if you set up the extension of the driver (in your case *.sys) to be automatically opened by Ultra Edit.. then you can claim ignorance..

Here's an example :

THEM: Why did you decompile our mga64.sys file when the disclaimer plainly states its punishable by law.

YOU: Honest.. I just accidentally clicked on it and it automatically popped up in ultra edit. While trying to figure out what the hell had happened, I looked through the text part and this one section caught my eye. So... whats the G800 anyways...

THEM: No Comment

YOU: What no answer?

THEM: Just don't do it again!!!

the image with UltraEdit is from www.murc.ws, I think you know this site....
