    Pace Nicely worded Questions... I am most interested in
    Are they going to further develop the DaulHead display features;
    What they think is the best solution to the Memory bandwidth issue;
    The bit on which feature or Features they most envy in their competitors products, or in the Latest DX, or what they'd like to see added to future DX versions...
    Oh and of course the bit on whether it's beneficial to try and compete with a company such as nVidia with their radical turnover time... and what Business model to they see themselves executing in the future...

    Craig

      not really for this thread, but the g400max was the most expensive card when it came out. it wasnt 600 bucks, but back then it was still pretty darn expensive.

      PS: i bought it anyway and never regretted it

        Heheh, I am back.

        Just to let you all know. The interview was sent and they are thinking about the questions. Should have them back Monday.

        Just a note, I was talking with the guy and he said something interesting....if we had stayed on the gaming track, we would have died along side 3dfx.

        In any case, its going to be a 2 part interview. The most important questions will be on the site and the 2nd part on the forums. Electic is moving servers again due to high traffic so we will do it right after the move is complete.

          Electic,
          If this is correct about the gaming route then it shows that maybe the route Matrox has taken is probably the best.
          As an aside to those of you who are looking for a Geforce 3 killer, I suggest a little bit of reality needs to set in. Matrox is sticking to what it does best and will probably release a card that plays games reasonably well. After all, we have the best picture quality and dual-head etc. We cant have everything .
          If Matrox were to invest heavily in a card to beat Nvidia's latest offerings then the chances are it would fail. Even if it didnt, I for one am not going to pay Geforce 2 Ultra/Geforce 3 prices for any Matrox card. Hardcore gaming is a small slice of the total pie and is still a niche market. You only have to look at the graphics cards that are being shipped with standard pc's to see that.

          However I am looking forward to the day when I can play all my games on the G400's replacement. Bring it on I say. Let Matrox bring on a card with the quality that we all love and frame rates that are good enough.

          regards MD

            I've got the feeling this is just a way of talking good that they went with the G450 and having the G800/G550 released so late (well.. whenever it's released, it's _very_ late). Maybe I'm wrong.. but this is just the feeling I have about it
