Have I been sold a PUP ??

Advertised on EBAY as a G400MAX. I was the highest bidder.

I have the card. The PCB is revision B It has no fan, the memory is 6nS. The model no on the back is G4+MDH4A32G

I fear the worst :-(

You have a G400 vanilla. The Max has 5ns sgram, not 6ns sdram. Also all Max's were sold with a fan.

If I'm not mistaken that P# for a agp 4x G400.

I'd get in contact with the seller ASAP!

Wouldn't be the first time Vic. Have seen this happen alot on Ebay.

Like Greebe says, get in contact with the seller. Item was misrepresented, don't matter if it was ignorance or intentional. If the seller is unwilling to cooperate, contact Ebay.

Yeah, you got screwed. Thats a G400 vanilla.. at least its AGP 4x capable... not much comfort though.

As mentioned, contact the seller immediately.. if you have problems, contact ebay fast.

I have contacted the seller and it was a mistake on his part. He is a genuine Ebayer so we are coming to an agreement over this.

The card runs fine at AGP 4x on my KT7A with duron 800@1040 so that's a bonus at least.

Now, where's that 486 heatsink? The thing runs damned hot.

I've heard that this card is fairly overclockable ...??
