  • G400 & VooDoo2

My word it's been a while.
Ages since I've had to setup both Win98 and for somebody who still uses a lot of old games!!
    Setting up PC for brother.
He currently has a VooDoo 2 card.
Since my G400MAX went into semi-retirement, I felt it was the ideal card to put in his system.
He still has a few old games that would make more use of the VooDoo2 card.
Is it still possible to have these two cards running side by side under Win98?

    Tar
It cost one penny to cross, or one hundred gold pieces if you had a billygoat.
Trolls might not be quick thinkers but they don't forget in a hurry, either

It is possible, but depending on which v2 drivers you are using it may screw up your system! I tried this several times 1½ yrs. ago, but cant remember which drivers caused the trouble .

      Asus A7V rev. 1.01p bios 1011
      AMD Thunderbird 800

Just thought i would come out of hiding to give you more reassurance. Again as above not sure what drivers I was using but I had a working setup with a G400, Vooddoo2 no problems at all.

I think it broke when you used the turboGL as well. As far as I kow its fine as long as you dont have that installed.

Let us know if it does still work would you.

I have never had turboGl installed. Disaster struck when I tried to install a new set of v2 drivers (cant remember if it was dx7 drivers for the v2)
