  • G450 radiator cable connector

G450 have 3-pin connector, on wich one wire from radiator is connected. I want to mount a fun over radiator, can i use other two pins for powersupply or it is not connected?

If it is an orange color wire connected with a screw to the Heatsink, it is for grounding and not power.

You can put a fan on the heatsink but connect it to your power supply.

Matrox uses 5V fans, so you'll have to get one of those or else its going to spin really slow.

The G450's don't have fans or any connectors which you can power a fan off of.

            Let me repeat SteveC's comment...
"The G450's don't have fans or any connectors which you can power a fan off of."

This is not a power connector, it's a voltage regulator and being such, can only output X amount of current, other than voiding the warranty, you could either cause the card to malfunction and or destroy it!

Use the PS voltage to run the fan.

Yes, but in my opinion, it was *NOT* designed for a fan attached to the heatsink, the connector may not have sufficient 5V output or even with no power output but only grounding.
