By killing it do you mean putting too much power through it...

Now that you mention it... there does seem to be a slight high pitched squealing noise coming from it at resolutions higher than 1280*1024...

I take it is a bad thing...

Oh and yeah... its funny... I was going to get a real good 19" to replace the 17" (But then the 17" blew up and I had to spend the money on rent when I was laid off for a few months) so I had little choice put to pick through the shed at my parents house and see what I had left lying around...

      So my wicked moniters are...

On my good computer (900Mhz Cele II)

14" Dell UltraScan VC5 (If you put it under the proper INF it limits it to 1024*768)

On the Awesome computer (100Mhz Pentium @ 133)

14" Samsung SyncMaster 14G (I haven't tried to push this one far yet as it has a Rage Pro Turbo 8 MB card and even at 1024*768 it takes forever to redraw and the text is a little blurry )

The wifes still playing her games so I will hopefully get some pics and screenies up tonight.. if not I will have them up tommorrow morning.

Oh and it turns out good that I didn't get a bigger moniter than the 14" because my room is limited and I don't think a 19" would even fit on the desk without moving the tower to the floor and putting it on the other side away from the beer fridge... (Yes I have a beer fridge right next to my computer... what can I say... I enjoy the little luxuries I can afford to the max.)

Heh Heh.. time for another beer.

The lady that got fleeced by the mom and pop shop decided that she wanted to keep the new card they sold her (After I told her that the dongle thing that came with the Voodoo 3 3000 they sold her was to hook it up to a TV and not surround sound like she thought it was )

She wants me to sell it for her...

                              A) How much would it be worth (its only been used for 2 months)

I am seriously thinking of picking it up for when I upgrade this Net/FTP/Router computer when I have some spare cash to upgrade my good system.

I was thinking back to the Mystique G200 w/Memory Addon that I used to have and it brought a odd feeling that I haven't experianced with much of my computer hardware... a sense of loss... I miss that card... (PS I am not drunk... yet so its not some lame emotional outburst brought on by alcohol... )

I didn't experiance that feeling when I gave up the TNT2 that replaced the G200 with a GF2 or even when I gave up the GF2 for a while and used the 815 Onboard Video.

                              Sigh... those were the days.
