G450 and still problems with AGP and OpenGL
My G450 is still not working properly. The problem is: AGP isn't working and OpenGL applications can't recognize my card. I've discussed this in Matrox Forums and you can read more about this there. (Please do so.)
The thing is that my BIOS is probably responsible for all this. I plugged my G450 to my friend's computer and it worked absolutely without problems! He has exactly same chipset as I (ALi Aladdin V) but it's manufactured by MSI (mine is Jamicon A586B) and he upgrades his BIOS every week while I never have done it. I nearly smashed my head to wall when I realized that 3DMark2000 results were double compared to my system, and yet he has only K6-2/400 and 64MB ram... can you tell me: do I have other options that to upgrade my BIOS (where can I find one? Mobo manufacturer hasn't anything on his site) or buy a new mobo, which I currently really can't afford to do. Well, last time I upgraded my BIOS I had to buy a new mobo so...
