How can Matrox be blowing vapor? They haven't even coughed a peep of a spec. By definition, vaporware is hardware that is being "pimped" that isn't out. Matrox hasn't even said anything, so shove it

Sorry to stress your 2 digit IQ. Read it, and then maybe have someone else read it for you. Also be aware that most of us here actually read the front page of MURC every day if not more, and are aware of what is posted and what is not. You are just pointing to a speculation. Matrox don't release specs until right before it's released, and they have made no such announcement yet.

Also be aware that most of us could care less about the 3D prowess of the GeWhizz3. I have one myself, and while it's fast, it's 2D is STILL sucky. You would think that for a 400 dollar card, it would have superb image quality, but this thing is worse than my older Matrox cards. My G400Max wipes the floor with it.

FINE! Screw me all to hell, I guess.
Check back a couple of posts, I admitted I could be mistaken.
Now maybe all of you could take two seconds to get over yourselves! You ask for opinions, then when someone expresses one you start talking out your spastic colons like a bunch of rabid foaming MAC users.
Makes a guy proud to be numbered among the mighty Matrox users :P

OK....lets not get out of hand here.

Zero, you are reading nothing but rumors. Matrox has made no announcement at all reguarding their next product. They won't even admit what it's going to be called, much less what it's specs are. A month old article with no backup from Matrox is hardly proof of what is to come.

As has been said, vaporware means they are promising things that nobody has seen. They have promised nothing. They have said nothing. They have spec'd nothing.

If you want to continue to speculate on imaginary hardware, do it in the Crystal Ball forum. That's what it's there for.

The rest of you...shame, shame. I left this thread open here thinking you could act adult enough to handle a simple fun little poll without it getting ugly...guess I shoulda known better.
