problem with MGA g200

I've checked the specs for your motherboard (mobo) and see the MGA G200 is an integrated chip on the mobo. It might be that you can only use the HP drivers to upgrade it. Here's a link to the latest drivers from HP

problem with MGA g200

Hello!

Is there anybody who can help me with my problem:
I have HP Vectra VEi8 with g200 on board. I cannot install DirectX 8.0 - it hungs during installation, I cannot install newest matrox drivers - the same problem and Windows Media Player doesn't work - guess what - it hungs up. Please give me any advice or suggestion.
I would be grateful for any help
