New Matrox card soon?

I've been thinking about a reason why Matrox is releasing a graphics card with a crippled T&L. The only reason I can come up with is that they are planning to release another card with a full blown T&L and perhaps something else (new, better, faster, GeForce3 killer)...

We'll just have to wait and see...
