Have you checked if the card is overheating?

seem to recall that some m/boards needed the AGP aperture in bios to be increased to 128-256Mb for the G400 to work properly. maybe it's the same for the G450!

        Just a few thoughts

Try the card on a different motherboard to check the card is working.

Also I don't know the motherboard, but check for an option for primary display AGP/PCI - make sure PCI is selected

I don't know if this will help, and I don't know the G450.

        Good Luck

Hate to say this, but I tend to believe the problem is MB related and it's time for an upgrade.

                Thank for attention.
It is very pleasant, that my problem does not leave indifferent the people even from Japan.
                1. I have not AGP Slot on MB, therefore I can not choose the order of initialization videoadapters in Setup BIOS (AGP/PCI).
                2. It is strange, but Matrox G450 PCI is working, seems, normal on MB with i815. However the experts from Matrox not inform about uncorrect functioning Matrox G450 PCI with i430TX.

I have what I have. And in nearest 1-2 years I was not going to change MB and CPU. With others videoadapters MB works correctly. However I was the admirer Matrox, and what I obtained from it ....

Yes. I had contact with ASUSTeK. However they did not answer to me. I want to inform, that MB serviceable because videoadapters Inno3D GeForce2MX400 PCI and 3DFX Vodoo 3 are working without problems. But they have the specification PCI 2.1.
Matrox G450 PCI has the specification PCI 2.2. Can be a problem in it?
                          Thank.

I had the version BIOS 112å-01. I already wrote, that had the versions 108å, 111å-006, 112å-01, and latest version - 1001 ACPI beta 3. Nothing has helped.
                            Thank.
