well, I have a problem,
I have 2 sgi 1600sws coming, 1 sony g500 that i wanna use.
i want the sony 2 be the main display.

so, i need 2 DVI outputs.

I can get one if i get the g550 right?
but where do i get second one?

i found a ATI All inwonder Radeon PCI but it does not have DVI out like i tought it did

im thinking about going with an etv card, but i need the daughter card 2 have DVI right?

is there gonna be a g550 PCI etv?

I don't know if you'll actualy find a dual DVI g550. What you could do is go g450 with analog + dvi and get a cheapo g200 or S3 card with DVI I see these cards all the time attached to the digital flat panels on ebay. Maybe a number9 as that's what was attached to the sgi's originaly

Looking at the G550 tech specs it looks like the DVI connector is the main display? Did I read that right?

Also looks like Matrox is limited to 1280x1024 That's not high enough for the sgi's is it.

You could use a card from 3D Labs. Kinda pricy, though.
