    Got My G550 Today!!!

    Earlier than expected, my G550 arrived today!!!

    The card itself looks a lot smaller than my trusty G400 Vanilla, but that's fine...

    It comes with DVI input and secondary input for conventional monitor. Since I am not running digital monitor, I had to stick the converter to the primary input to connect my Samsung 900NF.

    Everything works the same as G400, and I haven't had the chance to test any games. Somehow, the included CD recognized Windows XP, and it said "will install XP driver", which is nice.

    DVDMax works fine as before, and overall I am satisfied with it for now. I will test headcasting thingy when I get home tonight....

    BTW, am I the first one who received G550?

      Hi monocrom,

      I received my G550 yesterday. I have it running with Windows XP build 2526 just fine.

          Wohoo, and you are happy now ?

          Is the performance better than G400MAX ? Why dont you do some benchmarks then and put them in the bench forum.. ( No posts in a long time so.. )

          Dont understand why anyone would go for G550 if they have any G400 card.

            AFAIK G400s don't have DVI output, which is getting more and more useful nowdays... So IMHO it is a good new feature.
