Hello,
I just installed Quicktime 5.1 on my Windows 2K workstation. I'm running a G450 card in DualHead Multi-display mode, using "separate resolutions and color palettes for both displays."
The problem I'm having is my primary monitor begins to flicker when Quicktime is launched, and I lose the mouse arrow. The flicker continues until the Quicktime "splash" video finishes. The mouse never comes back. If I drag the Quicktime app to the secondary monitor, the app essentially becomes invisible, even though the buttons are still clickable.
I tried adjusting both monitors to the lowest resolutions and refresh frequencies, to no avail. When I turned off DualHead, Quicktime ran without problems. When DualHead is run using the "same resolution and color palette for both displays" Quicktime runs perfectly.
I'm guessing someone in this community has run across this problem before. Any advice?
