Shucks my Matrox DVD software doesn't work with me G550.

Well it doesn't under Windows 98 yet it works happily under win2k. It reckons theres a file missing but it doesn't say which one. Damn it.
Any ideas anyone ?

Are you reffering to the DVD software that came with the G550, or are you using the old G400 software?

My G550 DVD player works fine under win98...

The old G400 dvd player I didn't get a DVD player with my G550. If I did they hid it well on the CD.

The DVD player I got with my G400 Max works with the G550. It could be because I updated some of the files with a later version.(just for educational purposes)

I reckon my works under win2k becuase I installed over the top where under 98 I uninstalled the G400 drivers and this removed a file god knows what that the DVD player needs to work.

Custom installation I presume you mean for the g550. Nope just typical anyway the DVD software isn't there even according to the readme file. For the DVD player I tried everything it still says theres a file missing. It's looking like I'm stuffed.
