Please post your system specs IRQ list etc.

jtk, a question. Did you uninstall the old Win2k drivers before installing the new ones? You claim to be using the 5.71 drivers, but your driver information says you're using something called Driver Version 5.12.01.1220 ...

Also, what motherboard are you using?

And last but not least, checking your system clock is probably the last of your worries, but checking it wouldn't be so bad. Living 24 hours ahead of everyone else is kinda weird.

Hi yes i did uninstall the drivers first before installing the 571 drivers they dont seem to work for me in win2k i have a intel 815eea motherboard with latest drivers and bios the drivers i used when i did systems info are 532 microsoft approved matrox drivers they seem to work best on my machine i have been able to change my agp to agpx1 agpx2 using powerstrip v3.02 i can only change agp when in powerstrip adaptor info and take tick out of read only then i can change agp.when i change from x1 to x2 agp in powerstrips real time no problems when i change from either 1x 2x to 4x in real time it freezes win2k and have to reboot which makes me think that agpx4 in win2k seems to be a little unstable ?
By the way we are a little strange where i come from we like to be ahead of things thanks for the tip and your reply

Couple things to check in your bios. Do you have AGP 4x turned on in your bios? If so turn it off. Second is your AGP aperature size, if you have it set for 256 megs trying lowering it to 128.

Hi reply to Ti kul bastile my motherboard the intel 815eaa is one where you can hardly change anything this means options in bios are pci or agp there is no agp ram option 128- 256 etc very unusual i know in powerstrip it says agp ram 64 mb any ideas would be good thanks for your reply.

As to Jorden thanks for your reply stick to the point instead of finding faults in other non relative things maybe i should reply in Danish Tak

The AGP aperture size of 64megs is a known issue with Win2K. There isn't a fix for this and shouldn't be the source of your problems.

To me it appears that the MB is the source of problems. At first chance I'd replace it.
