I read it's 1280x1024. Has anybody tried 1600x1200 yet?
I thought DVI single-link can support greater than that.

Depends on the link speed.
It is 1280x1024 max at full refresh speed..
you can go higher if you drop the DVI link refresh. We got is running a 2048x1536 color flat panel at work, but it has to run around 30Hz, and the 2d part of the card basically can't handle that resolution with any reasonable speed, so it looks choppy and tears if you move anything. Of course I had to reprogram the monitor timing info that the matrox card reads.. so I'm not sure if you can do this at home. -
Well I got a G550, but it didn't work with the Apple 22" Cinema Display. So the next day I got a Radeon VE Dual Display edition. All is fine now.
I think I'll replace the Mystique G200 I have in my other box with the G550 so all isn't wasted.
