  • G400TV with 2nd VGA monitor ?!?

    Hi there !

I own a G400TV, using it for video editing

But the rest of the night I play games. Is there any chance to unplug the TV-Box and use a 2nd VGA-Monitor with the dualhead-function, so my eyes stop bleeding?

    I haven't tried anything yet, as I don't wanna kill my G400TV.

Note: The G400TV hasn't got two VGA-plugs, the second one looks like a joystick-plug (some kind of DB15).

    Any ideas ?!?

    Nope.
The Marvel cards can only handle one monitor and one TV.
There is no way to hook up a second monitor.
The second connector on the card is only for the BOB.

      Any other ways ?

      OK. Bad news.

What about a second graphic card (PCI)? Any chance to connect a second monitor to my PC?

As the G400-drivers support dual-head, does any OS support "tribble-head" or something like that (especially with two different chipsets)?!?

And, by the way, works videograbbing well with G400TV and this OS ?!? I heard terrible things about G400TV and Win2K & NT4 (green lines, flickering ect.). Is this true, and are the problems fixed in the "final" drivers? This is the only reason why I'm still running Win98!

      Thanks so long,

Get a G450 PCI and you now have TriHead.
