well, the gf 256 runs at 120mhz, and the g400 runs at 125mhz. also, on selling and buying the cards, i would also make a profit of $30. i know, i'm a bastard. if i knew it wasn't going to work, i wouldn't have done that. screw the $30.

also, about those motherboard upgrades, they're tempting, i just don't know what is what. i don't know what to download. there are just too many stuff their, and i cant make heads or tails out of it.

i WOULD upgrade my bios. if i knew which file to use. and also, isn't it strange that it worked with 2 other cards, and just not this one?

        How about those bios settings?

And what about the version of your bios?

Here's the latest for your motherboard:

          Do you have onboard LAN?

The reason why one card will have issues when another one won't is becaue they don't all access your system in the exact same way.

It should include a readme, use it to the letter.

                            NOPE.

I like having a thread people can refer to when looking for info...especially me when I have problems of my own

why don't you set up a php chat system for your board like i did for my board?

check out the chat. it's pretty impressive. you can set it up for yourself too.

that would be a good alternative to irc.
