Desktop keeps corruptingwith G400!

Hi guys!

ok! i have a G400 DH 32meg on an Abit KT7! recently in the last few months it keeps corrupting screens with dots and rainbow coloured lines...

mainly with 98se and ME

if i use XPpro or 2Kpro its fine! not a dot outta place.....
also i havent o/c the card, its never been o/c so it cant be that?

so can this card be on its way out? i hope not

does the computer freeze? or just get "crap" all over your screen?

mine did that too me for awhile (was using win98se) but it only happened while i was watching movies (like .mov .mpg etc) i forget what i did now, i may have upgraded around that time, but it doesn't do it anymore (now im using winXP, but it doesn't do it in 98 either)

try taking the AGP bus down to x2 or even x1, there is virtually no performance decrease and it hopefully will make all the "crap" go away.

Hmmm... my G400 did this too under Win98SE, but only with games.
I solved this issue with downgrading to driver 6.22
Which drivers are you using?
Did you upgrade your G400Bios?
