    Yep right. My new one is a SDRAM version and has the model number G4+M4A32DG.

    I suppose I will have to run some benches to determine what`s better ...

      If Matrox ever release registers specs for G550, I would be glad to update MGATweak to support G550. For MGATweak to support PLL programming on G550 should not be difficult, because I believe it still uses the same PLL architecture as G400, which doesn't really change much since Mystique, the first Matrox chip with integrated RAMDAC. However, to support memory timings programming, G550 registers specs is a MUST.
