  • Is there a way I can turn off v-sync by modifing registry?

    I/d like to turn off the v-sync. Can I do it by modifing the registry file? Which entry should I modify?

    I am using G400 with latest driver and Win2K.

    TIA

    Just use the latest MTST Utility to turn off Vsync... it's listed for DL on the MURC main page.

      I did!

      I did use the MTST utility to modify the v-sync setting. However, my FPS seems still limited to 75Hz. I'd like to check if MTST did its job properly.

        HKLM,System\CurrentControlSet\Services\Class\Displ ay\0000\Settings\DirectX,FlipOnVBlank,0,"0"

        "1":vsync on, "0"ff

        Doh, that's on Win98... not Win2K, sorry
