in my experience with scan on sales like this, it's because something new is coming out. it happened once when i bought an ati aiw. i got the 16mb ver that they had been advertising for a few weeks and a week later they started selling the 32 mb version.

hope this is following the tradition.

They haven't taken much off the prices though, as far as I see. The G550 is about £5, though the G200 is about half what they were selling it for recently.
