Which Card for my purpose?

I'm sorta new to actually using the DH features myself . . .

If he gets a (couple of) PCI DH cards, will he be able to run *slideshows* on them with none of them being the primary display or on the same card as the primary display? I though that'd be an overlay type program.

So, where to buy Matrox?

I appreciate all the help I've been given in this thread. So where do I get a G550? I haven't seen any carried in my area, all Radeon and GeForce. Please advise.

Guess that'd depend on what your area is, now wouldn't it ;-). Shouldn't be too hard, I live in an ATI town and I can find them.

You could also try http://www.pricescan.com to see if you can get a slightly lower price. If you do not buy from Matrox directly, make sure you get the retail instead of the OEM version.

Uh...and as long as you're not using that GeForce...
