I understand your reasons, but i hope the BIOS of the new Matrox card (you know what i m talking about! ) will be more stable for the sake of all Matrox's clients: Less RMAs and less work for the tech support!

G400Dh 32mb and G400SH 16mb use the same clock settings for the graphic chip and memories, so you can edit the PINS i uploaded with the settings i suggested, but i think the 16mb version has different timings (CAS; RAS to CAS delay, ecc....) for the memory controller (61; 71; 81 in the PINS). Ask to Haig for the memory controller!!!
Also SUBSYS_ID for the G400SH 16MB is 2159102B .Last edited by Venturer; 11 April 2002, 04:02.ATHLON XP 2600; Abit KX7-333Raid; 1GB SDRAM DDR PC-3200 Corsair XMS; Matrox Parhelia AGP 256; HITACHI 7K250 250GB; HITACHI 120GXP 120GB; HITACHI 120GXP 60GB; Sound Blaster Audigy 2; Plextor DVDRW PX-716A; Plextor CDRW Premium

As i said before, you can try to "save" your partially damaged PINS with the utility MXINFO avaiable here
Then you can read the correct values for you card and make the changes on the G400MAX pins.ATHLON XP 2600; Abit KX7-333Raid; 1GB SDRAM DDR PC-3200 Corsair XMS; Matrox Parhelia AGP 256; HITACHI 7K250 250GB; HITACHI 120GXP 120GB; HITACHI 120GXP 60GB; Sound Blaster Audigy 2; Plextor DVDRW PX-716A; Plextor CDRW Premium
