Hi,
Systemnormal-not overclocked)
VIA KT-133 chip set(EpoxEP8KA2)/Duron700/384MB PC133SDRAM/Maxtor20GB UDMA66/Maxtor
UDMA33/TDK CycloneCDRW/Matrox Marvel G400TV-AGP/Pine Schubert PCI SC/SupraExpress 56i Pro
V CC modem/Adaptec AIC-7850 PCI SCSI Controller/CTX 950SLT Monitor P&P/Windows'98
OS/DX8.1.
1) When I first installed my G400TV it detected my CTX Monitor (950SLT)as a DDC Monitor
on boot-up and thus to automatically configure and optimize. Somehow this recognition has
now vanished at boot-up. I have changed drivers from 628 to 682 (faster all round!)and
upt'the latest Matrox card BIOS. But no idea why Card no longer associated with DDC?
(which must have its advantages?)nb.Have re-installed CTX latest drvr.
2) Although I don't think its related to the above I'd appreciate any ideas why I get
screen lockups running 3Dgames/3Dbenchmarks.
Running a 3Ddemo from a cold boot succeeds at first but after a couple of runs the
programs hang. Av temps don't exceed System 20'C/CPU 28'C but no idea what the temp of the
Matrox card is. Any posts on this? Could an increase in Card temp be the reason?....would
a card cooler help do you think?
(nb. tried various VIA drivers and AGP multipliers from 1x to 4x and Matrox Tweak Utility
but no difference to lockups)
My IRQ's

Thanks for assisting
